Stand Up Paddle Board, also known as SUP, is a sport that involves a rider standing on their board while using a paddle to propel themselves through the water. It is a fun way to play on the water, but it also benefits a full-body workout. SUP is relatively easy to learn, and most beginners of the sport can carry out basic paddling in short amounts of time.

Get familiarized with your equipment before getting on a board to increase your confidence and a safety inspection. To begin standing on the board, stand beside the board in preferably knee-deep water, then use a kneeling position to climb onto the board. Place yourself slightly behind the board’s center while grabbing the edges.

Further, please keep your hands on the board’s sides to stabilize it as you slowly move your feet to where your knees are. Then, with bent knees, slowly raise your body. Finally, stand up by extending your legs until your chest has reached a vertical position.
